Join the Distress Centres of Greater Toronto and Bereaved Families of Ontario - Halton/Peel (Centre for Grief and Healing) for Conversations of Hope - a heartfelt, in-person event on Saturday, November 23, 2024 from 8:45 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. at Swansea Town Hall (95 Lavinia Ave, Toronto) to mark International Survivors of Suicide Loss Day.
Each year, nearly 4,500 Canadians die by suicide, leaving behind 7 to 10 survivors who must navigate the difficult path of loss and healing. To support those impacted, we are hosting the second annual Conversations of Hope. This event is open to anyone affected by suicide loss, and offers a space for survivors to come together for healing conversations, reflection, and community. Join us for guest speakers and group discussions designed to help survivors connect, share, and heal.

While there is a fee to attend, we are committed to making sure financial constraints are not a barrier to participation. For more information or assistance, please contact Alex Shendelman, Manager of the Traumatic Loss Program, at ashendelman@dcogt.com.
