About this GriefTalk: Designed to support individuals navigating the loss of a loved one, this GriefTalk incorporates mindful breathing techniques to help calm the nervous system, meditation to promote emotional release, and gentle low-impact seated yoga to create space for reflection and healing. Participants will come away with tools they can use whenever they need some extra support. This GriefTalk offers a safe and nurturing space for those seeking solace during difficult times. No prior experience with yoga, breathwork and/or meditation is needed.
About the facilitator: Kelly Price (she/her) is a certified yoga teacher for adults and children. She prefers teaching low-impact classes that focus on rest and relaxation. Passionate about mental health and helping others, Kelly also works for the Centre for Grief and Healing - Bereaved Families of Halton/Peel as a Fundraising Manager.
